A wonderful group of artists are coming to our yearly workshop, called "A New Year Again".
Thank you so much for contacting me and signing up so quickly because you all seem to know it fills fast.
The workshop will be held on 23rd February. Due to demand there is another one on 2nd March. Both are full, and there is a waitlist.
We will be spending time reflecting and actioning different ways of being as we create new 2019 pathways for ourselves, beginning with some simple yoga asanas and meditations that you can use throughout the year, followed by various creative processes that will open up new avenues of discovery.
I believe in living in learning (hence my choice of photo for this post. You can see my granddaughter with her granddad engaged in a lesson on trees...in fact in the workshop we will do a process around trees, such a fascinating and wondrous part of our world.
Since last February's workshop (2018) I have lived in learning, including the joy of working once again with Dr Jean Houston (a most valued mentor of mine based in Oregon who has developed fascinating ways of accessing our higher selves); completing Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training with the amazing yogi Judy Krupp in Sydney and Byron Bay Yoga Centre; working with Celia Roberts in Upper Brookfield (who leads powerful meditation teacher training) and several months of research in Perth, Mexico and Oregon with Assoc. Prof. Leah Mercer (my long-term colleague and collaborator based in Perth) creating new processes for artists development. We co-devised and co-directed our new work "This Silent Thing" at Hayman Theatre, Perth.
After a year of powerful creative challenges, I feel inspired and extremely happy to be sharing some processes with you that will enhance your year ahead.
Those of you who wish to join us, I urge you to contact asap. Although the first two workshops are now full, there are places for 10th March. I am committed to small groups (10-12) because they guarantee a deep and meaningful experience, where we get to know each other and work together to create a stronger more vibrant future.
Meanwhile, lets focus on what opportunities we can provide ourselves and each other on a daily basis. This is my new year intention and keeps my eyes open and my feet moving (right now my feet are moving to great movie hits on Spotify.
